Listen to the Call where we talk about Jupiter in Scorpio and what it means to you.
Jupiter into Scorpio
As an astrological archetype, Jupiter is know as the ‘Greater Benefic’ expanding horizons. In Scorpio, think expansion of authentic feelings.
Almost anybody can learn to think or believe or know, but not a single human being can be taught to feel. Why? Because whenever you think or you believe or you know, you’re a lot of other people: but the moment you feel, you’re nobody-but-yourself. –Laura Riding
Jupiter is the largest planet in our solar system and is symbolic of large scale experiences. That’s big wins, big times, big love. You get the picture. He is yang, optimistic, popular, expansive and generous. Happy!
Jupiter is anything that lifts our hopes, helps us aim high and shows us new horizons. But what’s really going on when we experience this energy is we begin to believe in ourselves. That’s what makes it happen.
The power of the vibrations of confidence, commitment and belief . . . can turn dark horses into champions, long shots into heroes and underdogs into top dogs. –Jeannette Maw
Confidence means you believe in yourself and where Jupiter in Scorpio transits symbolizes where we can amp up that belief and make things bigger. Larger than life.
If it’s in your 5th house of romance, you’ll vibe self assured when meeting that hottie you’ve been ‘living’ to talk to. Suddenly your creative life is on fire. Why? Because you believe.
Jupiter in the 10th house can amplify the career. You might wake up with the confidence to walk out of a deadbeat job and land the one of your dreams. Belief in yourself breeds trust and respect, even a bit of awe!

[…] Jupiter into Scorpio […]
Hi Kim, I’m getting caught up on this call. I think Scorpio is on the cusp of my 4th and 5th houses – I saw your note to Lynda and wanted to know what you mean by maximize the energy. Am I correct in where Scorpio is? I love Jupiter’s energy so I want to take advantage of it – thanks for the help.
Hi Julie, The fourth and fifth house is correct. Up to 12 degrees in the 4th, so you can check the online emphermis to see how long is left with focus in the HOME sector. Let me know if you need a hand.
The 4th is a house of hidden energy, connecting to your own, powerful sense of Self and emotional stability. Neptune is there at 9 Scorpio, so all your work ‘behind the veil’ is relevant. Think of expansion of your inner knowing. Connection to ancestors too. Has that come up?
Hi Kim I was curious about Jupiter transiting my ninth ( excited that its in the 9th ) house square my venus mars opposition . natal venus in the 12 th natal; mars in the 6th . this would be a t square . empty space 3rd house . Any thoughts ???thanks for the call cheers Jacque
my chart is in the gallery
Jupiter expands whatever it touches, so your Mars in the 6th, energy you put into your daily routine, your body, work, ritual and the connection between mind-body-spirit, is activated, to start with. (by the transiting Jupiter square). It wakes up the opposition between Mars and Venus, as you say, creating a T-Square, and that’s about finding balance between Love and Will. You ask, how do I do what I want, when I want, and also server and care and please those I love? Often it feels like we have to do ‘either or’ but ultimately it’s about finding the And/and.
Independence AND friendship. My needs AND yours. Leadership AND one of the group.
Jupiter gives the opportunity to get in touch with your vibe around Self vs. Others and help you find balance so that you are true to who you are AND you have connections with others.
Our next call on the 24th is all about the Mars energy and ways it finds healthy expression. Should tie in well.
With Jupiter in the 9th, it’s a year of expanding horizons. I know you love to TRAVEL and I do hope there is some adventures of that nature on the cards. It also might be about expanding your beliefs, your knowledge through study, your spiritual practice. It’s a fabulous time for research, travel for work and training, and connecting with new ways of being through experiencing other cultures.
Anything like that in mind?
For those who want to chime in, Jacque’s chart is HERE.
Thanks so much Kim for your insight always much appreciated xxx 🙂
Hi all! Thank you so much Kim & Jeannette for that awesome call. Also, I want to thank you both for giving me a chart reading. Certainly I need to do something that brings me joy as you specified like reading books/e-books; watching movies (on TV/DVD/Cinema). I realised that very recently I had been feeling really down so I need to get some JOY medicine into me to start getting good vibrations again.
Have you considered getting yourself a set of oracle cards? They are very 12th house and good for looking for stuff you might not know you are looking for. And beautifully visual. As one of my clients said to me: you can’t know what you don’t know. Which is why I adore the cards. 12th house is Soul work and it’s always a good place to dig through before coming out the other side into the first house again!
You’re most welcome Guillaume. It was great to have your feedback and insights on the call. Check out Mary’s comment on Jupiter in her first house (aka You, in December onward). Lots to prepave!
Jupiter in Libra strutted through my first house dramatically, bouncing over my natal Jupite/Uranus/South Mode conjunction in the early degrees of Libra, squaring or opposing my mid-degree Capricorn Sun and Saturn in Aries, and finally hitting my natal Mars in the last degree of Libra. I performed in three different plays, dressed to the nines in each, made several new friends, and made a cross-country move. I can’t wait to see how Jupiter in Scorpio shows up in the second house issues in my life.
What a splash Jupiter in the first has made. Onward and upward!
For anyone looking for a slightly different lens of inquiry for Kim’s awesome insights, I’ve developed a tarot/oracle spread to explore change – it’s helped me to make peace with the changes I coming with my Jupiter Scorpio!
I hope it’s okay to post this here, Kim. – JODI, we are going to have a GVA Members offerings page so the comments will be just on topic. Plus, great to have a reference page to go to. I emailed everyone about it.
Great idea, thanks.
I’ve got Jupiter heading through the tail end of my 7th house and then on into my 8th and I have to say I’m both freaked out and excited about what’s coming.
It will also make aspect to my Aquarian Venus before it leaves my 7th. Clarification and consolidation, indeed.
I would also add, with Venus in Aquarius, surprise!
Thanks for contributing this example on the call. 🙂
Surprise may very well be heading out into a very public realm together (Venus is in the tail end of the 10th house) for the first time ever as I do my last (for a very long time) public reading at a book launch tonight. I was surprised he said yes. I gave him all the space and encouragement to say no. But he’s showing up anyway. Interesting times ahead. Xx
Ooh la la! wish I could be at that reading. Good luck!
So looks like my Scorpio is in part of my 6th and lots of my 7th. I know what those houses represent but not sure how that translates with Jupiter? Looking fwd to the call!
Is there a link to your chart in the gallery? I’d love to take a look.
Oh, thanks Kim! I just uploaded it. Its been only a couple months Ive been self studying astrology.. about 2 years I have been noticing the resonance of the information Im getting, the moon cycles and clearly there is a lot that has been going on, still going on, a lot Im transforming, learning. Btw it s really nice to discover your site and you calls, cheers!. Namasté.
Hi Sarah, this is the opposite of Guillaume’s chart that we looked at on the call. Where he has Jupiter in his 12th until December before it crosses the Ascendant, you have it in the 6th and then over the Descendant and into the 7th. These angular crossings are very important times, a revisit to your goals and desires in key areas of life.
With these last few months in the 6th house, maybe tune into your work, daily routine and ask if you feel inspired, adventurous and free there. Also, so you feel supported, partnered, as in collaborations or just knowing someone’s got your back. Find what feels good in the body, health, fitness too. Give that sixth house your all, and then when Jupiter enters your 7th house, you have a year of expansion and adventure in the house of personal, socially significant relationships.
With all that juiced up fitness, health and joyful routine, you’re ready to engage in relationship in a new way. If you’ve been tolerating situations or not feeling the joy, you’ll break free. But if you’ve been flighty or putting priorities elsewhere, you’ll find a strong urge to take relationship to a new level. Remember Mars rules your 7th, along with Pluto, so you LIKE edge and risk and intensity. Jupiter will remind you of that, when he transits there.
Ideas?
Thank YOU Kim! So interesting! I’ve been getting a lot of ‘great’ (for the ego, for the wallet, for the experience) jobs which I took but feeling like my heart is sinking.. craving to take a great big leap, reinvent my work completely, create an agency with my husband, move countries.. Dont really know how but know my why. Also I signed up to the gym, but haven’t been going bc not motivated and 2 recent injuries. I have been better at naturopathic programme we started. So if I understand you correctly its perhaps a good time to focus on self-care, especially as a way to nurture my health and energy and sort out the daily admin and clutter; and it’s ok to make the plans for the professional leap in the new year?
That plan is in alignment with Jupiter, for sure. If you continue to put positive, creative energy into the body, health, fitness while brainstorming the big leap, you’re happening! Jupiter can make us feel invincible though, so make sure you have a health care professional give the thumbs up on any previous injuries before you hit the gym. 🙂
Sounds exciting!
Carolyn 04-05-1945 where is Scorpio in my chart. Thank you ox
Hi Carolyn,
To spot what house Scorpio resides in, you need your date, time and place of birth. Here is how to create your chart online. Save it as an image file (.gif) and upload it your to your gallery, (Align with the stars gallery) or post it as an image to your FB, photobucket, twitter and link to it.
Can’t wait to see.
Shout out if you need help.
I have Scorpio on the cusp of my 5th house…..
Is it still in your forth house for a few degrees? You want to maximize the energy shift as it changes signs, creates new aspects and changes houses. The 5th is all about your creative heart, artistry, offspring, romance… everything that makes you feel special.
so I assume, I look to where Scorpio is in my Natal Chart and that is the house that is being activated? Which would be 9th house
Yes. Likely, it’s in the same house as your late Libra (unless your cusps are right on the 0 degree mark) but the shift in sign, and the planets it will now apply to by aspect, all serve to activate new energy. So think of new horizons, expansion, maybe travel, www action, higher learning, new meditations… whatever takes your mind, body, spirit somewhere it’s never been before.
My Virgo 6th house (significantly emphasised)… Magickal Manifestations… exciting 🌞💥🌞
Scorpio begins in the middle of my 9th house, so I will get the first half there and then the 2nd half will swing to 10th house
That’s great. You’ll have the first half of the transit to focus more intensely on the area of expansion and then watch as it crosses your MC (maybe once or maybe three times) and you take what you have gained into your career, mission, profession.
Jupiter in Scorpio… excited. Luv his transit here … Yhoo 🌞🌞
It looks like the first things Jupiter will do for you is activate your Venus, Mars and Ascendant, from the 5th. Sounds social and creative to me. What are you pre-paving? Writing? Music? Romance?
Here’s my chart for this topic: http://goodvibeastrology.com/upg/gjm-aka-triplef-jupiter-into-scorpio-chart/ will write here more later.
Hi all…managed to interpret my chart for this transit. To begin, Jupiter is starting from the 12th house then finishing in the 1st house.
JUPITER IN 12TH HOUSE: Looking deeper into this I had interpreted that I will be more in touch with my non-conscious mind (i.e. subconscious). Certainly makes sense to me; as some of you know I am currently on the Holosync meditation program & will complete this next year. When you meditate you do get in touch with your non-conscious mind. When the Autumnal Equinox occurred on the 22nd September in the final week of September I stopped Holosync at that time & did the Sonic Access 4 Seasons: Autumn & Relationships & then resumed Holosync after that. On a more interesting note there was a reference to picking up Metaphysical studies (Philosophy) & I am very interested in studying towards a Canadian degree in Philosophy once I get sufficient monetry funds. In general it states that help seems to be there when I need it…that’s good to hear because I do need a lot of help in some areas of my life.
JUPITER IN 1ST HOUSE: When this occurs I will have heightened optimism in my life. Well I can now start to DREAM BIG! I have the potential to be relaxed, fortunate & hopeful at this time. I am now going to eye my future & think about my future. It states that I’ll have faith in the Universe-faith that everything will work out for me – the sky is the limit for me. That is so awesome to hear.
